Hello all!!!

I am revised the cards of the company and I have seen that Powercolor made a Voodoo4 4500... does someone know anything about this?

It is rare that 3dfx only "give" the 4500 to this company, but I haven't found info, does someone know something about this "affair"?

Regadrs!!!

As far as I'm concerned, PowerColor made 4 different versions of what we know as "Voodoo 4 4500":

Powercolor EvilKing 4 (VSA-100) PCI 32MB SDR
Powercolor EvilKing 4 (VSA-100) AGP 32MB SDR
Powercolor EvilKing 4 (VSA-100) AGP 32MB SDR TV out
Powercolor EvilKing 4 (VSA-100) AGP 32MB SDR "L-Shaped" Card

But there were also other "exotic" companies that used single VSA-100 chip to make their own Voodoo 4 cards like: Evate, Chance, Meditech, Speed....

I know them for this web but I don't see info in others webs. It 's very strange that 3dfx licensed this card in the final of its life.

Can they be only protos?

PS: The evate desn't have a good BIOS preserved: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
